Didn't have Dr. Mehta, so I can't help you with feedback. I was wondering what the is all about? I see from your profile that you had questions about the preop diet that you were not told about, but that a friend had to do. Not every surgeon makes their patients do a pre-op diet or a presurgical bowel prep. It's really important to know what *your surgeon* wants YOU to do. Check with your surgeon's office. You should expect them to help you with all your questions, and I'm sure they would be happy to do that. Anyhow, I'm sending my best wishes for an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery. All the best! Irene

Hi nicole, I`m sorry to hear you are having such a tough time. You should feel fully prepared to go through this surgery. I didn`t have to do a pre-op diet not all surgeons require that. I just can`t eat the night before. If you need to talk give me a holler.WECAN DO IT BY PHONE IF YOU NEED TO.

Hi Nicole, I am having surgery on the 31st. I think Dr. Mehta is the one with the infomercail on tv. I've seen it and it is very informative. I have a doctor in West Orange, so I can't help you. My best advice is to hang in there. You've come this far. God Bless, Ana

Nicole, Good luck to you. I had and have Dr. Mehta. My surgery was 2-1/2 years ago. Have had some complications - strictures, obstruction, hernia, adhesions, low potassium and low iron. But, you know what, through it all I have been able to either 1) contact and have Dr. Mehta or his staff handle everything immediatley or 2) get the proper direction as to where I should go to get something accomplished. His office support staff is first rate - even better than my PCP's office staff. He has a new associate - also first rate. I see Dr. Mehta on a regular basis, no problems. Please contact me if I can help you any further. Kathy
