I THINK IT IS IMPORTANT...

That we as members understand that people from new jersey come onto the jersey boards for information so that they May make more informed choices from our experiences. I know that this has helped me a great deal and I thank you all for your support but, not enough of us are posting here instead choosing to post on the main board which is fine but, please share your experiences here too.Because it doesn`t help someone from texas to know your experience with your doctor in new jersey.

Dear C B, I mostly lurk these days too - just very busy. Both my husband and I have had great experiences with our Dr. in New Jersey. ( Dr. Abkin ) We have both been very fortunate with our surgery and are glad we made the choice to have RNY. ( even though Phil did have a complication, he would do it all again in a second. - take a look at our profile when you have a chance. I have to post some new pics of us climbing "Guano Point" at the Grand Canyon last month - I'll try to get to that this weekend!) Phil is now 16 days post-op from his bodylift/tummy tuck, where they removed 7 lbs of skin and tighten his abdominal muscle. He is doing just great, and it looks like he will be very pleased with his final results. I see you are scheduled for surgery in 10 days. I want to wish you all the best. Follow your Dr.'s orders, and remember, this surgery is not a quick fix, but a tool to use properly the rest of your life. Wishing you MUCH SUCCESS! Sherri
