BC, I have Aetna HMO, NJ State Employee Plan. It may be different from your plan but I had no problem getting approved on my first try. (I have the same surgeon as you too.) Good luck. Robin 318/280/230/150

I have Aetna. BEWARE!!!!. I had my schedule date for Monday 4-10, but now I have to wait an additional 6 months. My Primamary failed to document that I was I her office. NO DOCUMENT NO SURGERY. I have to start the process all over again. I was missing the last weigh in. I have 5 doctors that say I need the surgery, yet (1) weigh in I have to start the process all over again. I AM DEVISTATED. The only advice I can give is pay by check for your weigh ins and put it in the memo line. Make sure you document the date and who weighed you. Get a copy of your medical records and keep them in your surgical binder. The more aware you are about the records your physician has the less likely you will be denied. I was approved until they could not find the last weigh in.
