Looking for North NJ Support Group

Hey guys and gals..Just wondering if anyone knows of support groups in the North Jersey area? Thanks

Hackensack Hospital has 2 of them, 1 is privately run (which I used to attend) the other is run by the hospital. Holy Name also advertises one. There is one in Paramus, but the name escapes me, maybe do a search on yahoo or something; and I'd be very surprised if Englewood Hospital didn't offer one as well.

Hi Lisa, The Hackensack Medical Center has a free monthly support group which I attend almost every month. It is the 1st Thurs. of the month. It starts at 6:30pm and usually runs to about 8pm. You also get a free parking pass for attending. I hope this helps!!! Lynn

Hi, Englewood Hospital has a good one. They have informational seminars, regular support group meetings and support group meetings for people post op one year and over. All good groups. I believe the third Wedesday of each month. You can call Bergen Bariatric at the hospital for a schedule. They are 201-894-3000. That is the main number at the hospital. They will connect you. They are very good.
