I found a great Food place in Somerset!!

Ok, so we all know that eating out or running out for lunch we sometimes opt for the not so healthy because it's hard to substitute all of the right things and know that it's being cooked in a healthy manner. Well... I just found the BEST place to run out for lunch! It's not exactly cheap, but it's not overly expensive either! It's called Mindless Meals and it's 120 Cedar Grove Lane in Somerset, NJ. Pat, the owner, is SO nice! He does nutrition counseling and he has pre weighed, measured, and balanced frozen meals. I'm not advertising, just sharing what I found w/ my fellow central jerseyans. He just opened about 2 weeks ago and they're not doing much advertising so I'm sure they could use some business. Check them out. See if you like the menu. Seeing as I rarely cook and I'm trying to keep myself on track I'm really excited to have found this place. If anyone wants more info... let me know. Unfortunately they don't have a website. You can just go in and check out the menu. It's still a matter of making the right choices because they do have a lot of dishes w/ carbs and some w/ sugars, but they have some GREAT options for us! Especially since it's all grilled w/ pam Pat is the owner, but anyone there can help you and answer questions. They've all been really nice so far

BTW... I see you just had your surgery recently... how are you feeling? I've heard great things about Dr. Abkin. I hope everything's going smoothly! I'm about 10 months out and still learning, but if you have any questions, just let me know! Are you going to any local support groups? If not, I go to a great one in Bound Brook (when I have time). Hey lady! I know, I've been looking all over for something new. They used to have a health food place in the same spot, then they closed. Now Mindless Meals took over and I'm SO excited!
