any problem taking a stool softner?

Anyone know if I can take a stool softner, I just got off clear liquids on Friday, only one bowel movement since. Do you think I can take a softner??? Antoinette

Well hello neighbor! I'm 3 years out and I've been using Fiber Choice since the beginning. I've tried them all, and find this one the most palatable to my taste. With the high protein diet, its a real necessity for me. As long as your doc has permitted solid foods, you should be ok with it. May your journey be as wonderful as mine has been! Linda

When I'm feeling constipated I use Senakot. I just crush up 2 tablets and put it in applesauce and it does the trick. My doctor said that it was okay to use it. Tracy
