200lbs Down - I'm going to Disney World!
OK it's almost 200lbs... less then 8lbs to go! Anyway Now that I lost this dreadful weight... I'M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD! I'll be going at the end of August... and considering I don't fly so my gf and I would be taking the train (from NYC). I have a few questions I did not get a clear answer from Disney so I hope someone knows:
1. Is it worth getting a meal ticket?
2. Does Disney offer bariatric discounts on meals such as a child meal?
3. Can we split a meal ticket?
4. Can I get a pay a child meal plan for me?
5. If I go to the buffet can I get it at the child cost?
Any help or TIPS would be GREAT.
Thanks your LOSER friend,
Phil

Hey neighbor! I am in Kearny, and went to the same practice for my surgery. Dr. Trivedi did mine! Anyway.. Disney World sounds GREAT!!! I can give you an email address of a friend of mine who works there who could probably answer your questions. Certainly, she will know more than I do! Anyway, I am sure you are excited about getting onto rides and things like that! Enjoy it like crazy!!

Its the same train that pass thru Newark, so get it there, and get a sleeper, much nicer, you get private toilet, shower, meals, snacks,tv,checked baggage, all included, and go Kissimmee next stop after Orlando, much nicer, remote,no hassle, the tourist all go to Orlando, its closer, rent a car there, cheaper, enterprise will meet you at the train, no problem, save you the airport on site fee which is extra per day, loved the train, the food was excellent, well you may not appreciate it, but your girl will, and you can specify a special diet, and if you need to bring refrigerated food in the sleeper section they will store it for you, the sleeper section is first class. you basically have your own cabin or sleeper you will need to reserve early they sell out. fast. being in the window of wls, being gassy, needing a bathroom, it maybe more than a luxury than just being in the coach section for 24hrs can take.
