First Post- Asking for Lap Band info.

Hi- my name is Phyllis S. and I have a consult scheduled with Dr. Bobila(Moorestown,NJ) this week to see if I am a candidate for WLS. I have done loads of research and attended a meeting at my local hospital regarding WLS and am very interested in Lap Band surgery. I would love to speak with someone who has had Lap Band surgery and find out what their experience has been.What kind of success have you had, what can you eat, how do you feel? I have spoken with several people that have had RNY, but no one with Lap Band. I appreciate any replies or information you can give me. Thanks a lot.

Hi...I'd like to suggest you post also to the lap band forum here at obesityhelp - it's a very active and friendly board and I'm sure you'll get a lot of responses to your questions. You can find it by clicking forums up top in the yellow bar and then choose Lap Band from the Surgery Types drop down menu. Best of luck in your endeavors! ~Tooter
