HI Joann Thinking about things like that freaks me out. In the begining when I first made my decison to do this surgery, I read everything I could find about how the surgery will be performed and the instruments used, tubes, needles, what happens in the OR. I use be be obsessed with knowing these things, I watch a few live recordings of the procedure online and I tell you, it drove me crazy. I was freaked out everytime but just could not stop wanting to know. I stopped doing that a couple months ago, the more I knew is the more the butterflies would come and the possibility of me backing out. Don't worry about whats going to happen there, make sure you choose a good surgeon and a great hospital. If so many people have the will power to go through it then we can do it too. The first few days after surgery you are going to be sleeping most of the time,(I heard) so the drainage tube won't be much of a problem. If you have to take it home, just buy alot of antimicrobial wet wipes. Goodluck
