Jesse Lewis

Hello Friends, it has been too long since we heard from Jesse. I called Friday afternoon to see how he and his lovely wife, Joanna are doing. Jesse had a clot which formed on one of the leads from his pacemaker. It was taken care of and he was prescribed Coumadin to thin his blood. Unfortunately, the dosage was too high. About two weeks ago, Jesse passed out at home and was rushed to the hospital. He was given four units of plasma and is doing better. Joanna, one of the sweetest people I have ever met, is in a convalescent center in West Orange. Her kidneys are not doing well. She had an access in her leg for dialysis but the leg developed a complication. The access was moved to Joanna's shoulder. Her blood pressure is very low. They are unable to do full dialysis. Thanks for the update Malinda -- I for one certainly miss Jesse's weekly Friday posts -- Last time I saw him was in May at the OH Event in NJ where he was "King." He has always been a good friend and great support. If you speak to him, please pass on my best wishes, prayers and hopes for a speedy recovery. Hugs, Nannette
