Anyone here have Cigna Insurance????

Hey Everyone, I am just wondering from fellow New Jersey friends, if any of you have Cigna as you insurance company? Also, if you could let me know how it was getting approved by them. I'm in the final month of the 6 month weigh-ins at my PCP that they require. I'm just so nervous they are going to deny me...All the hard work and money you spend trying to get what you want done!!!Anyway, any input would be great...THANKS!!! Shannon

Shannon: Be prepared for a denial. I had everything Cigna(PPO) required, but they denied me. I didn't fart around - I hired an appeal advocate who wrote an appeal for me that was approved about 48 hours after Cigna received it. If you *are* denied - Do. Not. Give. Up. Appeal. Shannon, I have Cigna HMO as well. I went through all the tests, psych, and all the paperwork. Everything was done. I was denied immediately. Unlike Pamela, I did give up. For me, I think it may have been a blessing in disguise. I'm still not sure if surgery would be right for me. I know the end result is, but changing myself internally still does not sit well for me.
