Help! I've stopped losing!
Hi Louise...
It seems to me to be very early to hit a plateau at 6 weeks but I am not an expert... Assuming you are STRICTLY adhering to your diet (not snacking, not drinking with your meals, etc... )
1. I suggest you call your nuitritionist in the morning... even go and see him/her if you can
2. Our fellow OH'ers keep referring to a "Plateau buster Diet" that I copied below... Hope it works for you.

Plateau buster diet
How to break a plateau
#1 - Do this for 10 days to break a plateau
#2 - Drink 2 quarts of water a day
#3 - You must have 45 grams of protein supplement and all your vitamins/minerals supplements each day
#4 - You may consume up to 3 oz of the following high protein foods, 5x a day
beef
pork
chicken
turkey
lamb
fish
eggs
low fat cheese
cottage cheese
plain yogurt or artificially sweetened
peanut butter
beans/legumes
You may also have:
sugar free popsicles
tea or coffee
sugar free soda
sugar free jello
broths/boullion
crystal light drinks
#5 - If it's not on the list, you can't have it for 10 days!!!!
#6 - Keep a food diary and get up to 30 mins of exercise daily
I think you are fine... Just stick to your plan... Your body is catching up that is all.. we all go thru this from time to time..
don't obsess about the scale.. look for body changes, you will notice them and then one day you step back on the scale and there is like 6 lbs gone.. you'll see. .just keep doing what you are doing...

hey louise your body is probably going into shock lolol...it;s trying to catch up and it cant figure out what the hell you are doing now...were you a yo yo dieter i bet by the time you get to the point of having surgery i'm sure you tried everything else to trick your body into losing weight now you WON! once it figure what you are doing it will let you in the mean time stay stubborn as is your body and keep doing what your doing you'll lose soon....good luck
