Has anyone ever heard of the baratric surgeons at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, NJ? One was highly recommended by my cardiophysiologist. I asked during a stress test if the doctor thought it would be harder on the heart to lose weight as quickly as bypass rather than banding. He is one smart man, but admitted he really didn't know the answer. He said I may have SVT from the heart having to reshape itself to accomodate the effort it takes to pump my blood through my body, and that when one gains weight it kind of distorts the heart, stretching it and sometimes causing one connection to have trouble meeting the other as in SVT. Please, if anyone can help to answer, I'm an open book. Speaking of books, in the Before and After Book! Wow... these are some fantastic recipies (but I haven't tried tasting the protein they add as many of the substitute ingredients). If they taste as good as they look, I could introduce my family and friends to much better eating and things they'll want to eat. Has anyone tried the recipies? Thank you all.
