NJ Plastic Surgery ??

Hi folks, My husband Phil is ready for plastic surgery ( 140lb wt loss!) and we have a few questions. ( he is looking at a Tummy Tuck/body conturing) 1. Any Dr. recommendations for northern NJ out there? 2. The 2 Dr's he did see as a consult told him they do not deal with insurance - he would have to pay up front and deal with insurance on his own. Is that how it's supposed to work? 3. Anyone know if/what United Healthcare covers? Any input/experience would be great. Phil doesn't have any issues with rashes really - his only problem is a 7inch scar from his belly button up towards his chest -caused by an emergency herniated bowel and gallbladder surgery while we were on vacation in August. This scar is always red, itchy and sometimes has pimples. Any help/comments/ideas you great folks can give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Sherri & Phil

Hi Sherri and Phil -- I have had all my plastics done by Dr. Joseph Cappella in Ramsey, NJ. He is awesome. Prices are reasonable and he will submit to insurance for you, but with no guarantees. I was able to get my lower body lift covered with Aetna with medical documentation of rashes with Dr Joe as an out of network provider. Good luck. Nannette
