when do you get a date?

I have a couple of questions - ones that i did not as my surgeon -duh ?! When are approx. surgery date given? Is it at the end of seeing all of the doctors, after meeting the surgeon? When are you the see the surgeon again after seeing all of the doctors?

Hi Joann - You would see the doctor again once you finish everything and he has your results (I suggest you keep copies as well). I believe you will recieve a date once the doctor has all your results and you have insurance approval (Someone correct me if I'm wrong). Hope this helps. Sandra 23 months post op -190 lbs

I was told once the office gets insurance approval, they will book surgery time. I would go to St. Barnabas Medical Center. I have seen other people get a date, then the surgery is cancelled because of insurance denials. Teru
