TIMMY RAY - FENDER BENDER
Hello Everyone, Timmy called me this morning to tell me he had been in an accident last night. He's bruised and sore, but thankfully that's all!!!! He was going about 40mph and had to swerve around a stopped car in the road. Fortunately, he did not hit the other car but a fire hydrant, telephone pole, several small trees and his suburu were not so lucky. 
Timmy was able to walk from his car to the other side of the road because it looked as if the pole and power lines would come down on his car. He told me that passerbyes helped him until 2 fire engines, 9 police cars and an ambulance arrived. The firemen actually didn't believe him when he said that he had been the one in the car!!!!! 
They secured a collar on his neck and made him lay on a brace board. Luckily, as I stated before, he is home with bumps, bruises and lots of aches, especially in his shoulders. He regrets that typing on the computer just cannot be done, by him, at this time because of the pain in his shoulders. He hopes to be up and posting in a couple of days and still plans on attending the Nov. meeting in Toms River.

Please tell Timmy that he is in my thoughts and that I am sending positive energy his way. I sure can identify as I had a very similiar accident a couple of years ago. I got hit on the drivers door while crossing over a major highway and could not get out of the car-- until some very kind people helped pry my door open and pulled me out. The traffic light pole landed on my car and my car started to burn. An angel was with me and it sounds like the same one was with Timmy. My car was totaled, but I'm alive. Thank God Timmy was not seriously injured!!!!!
Just a suggestions Jen, Tell Timmy to not poo-poo any pains that continue, I did and ended up with knee, shoulder and neck problems since my accident. I thought they would go away and they did not.

Fran Hi Fran, thank you for your kind words of concern and comfort. As I said to Lori, above, hopefully Timmy will be reading these replies and I know he thanks you. He's sooooooo committed to this site and especially our beloved NJ board. He thinks of everyone often and really appreciates the kindnesses back. Part of the reason I didn't hesitate to help him with his postings. Stay healthy and happy and again, Thank You!!!!

Please let Tim know that he is in my prayers and I hope he is recovering safe & sound at home. It is amazing how fast a car accident happens and how long it stays with you. Thank God he was not seriously injured because unlike his car or the fire hydrant, he is most certainly irreplaceable!

Hi Nannette, We are all grateful that he is ok. Talked to him for just a moment yesterday. Woke him up, actually. SORRY TIMMY!!!! He said that he was still sore and bumped up. Hope he makes it to the meeting on Thursday.
I may be bringing a new face to the meeting. She found me through this site. Only lives 5 min. away from me. She is 9 mos. out and her name is Kathy. Also bringing my surprise!!! Can't wait to see everyone again!!!!!
Have made it to 195 lbs. and a size large shirt, size 16 pants!!!!!!!!! Passed my stress test with flying colors too!!!!! Have joined LA Fitness. My husband gave me the membership for my birthday on the 3rd. I can't wait to get pumped up!!!
