Help!!!

I am really falling off the wagon with eating. I need a support group that can get me back on track. I find myself eating way too many carbs and not enough proteins. I am located in West Deptford, NJ. Would anyone happen to know of a good support that I can attend in my area???? Thanks, Candice

Hi Candice, I'm not sure where West Deptford is, but I live up in Piscataway. I actually drive 1 hour, once a month to the support group in Toms River down in South Jersey. This is a wonderful group. You feel as if you are with friends and family at every meeting, even if it's your first time there!!!!! It's held at Community Hospital in Toms River the first Friday of every month from 7pm - 9pm. You can always e-mail Nannette, who posts all the time on this board, she is one of the leaders of this group. The next meeting is on Nov. 4th. I hope you will be able to join us!!!!! Thank you Jen. I will look into it. West Deptford is about 20 minutes south of Camden, NJ. I am trying to find a support group in Pitman, NJ. I heard that there is a really good one there. If you have the address of yours then I can at least take a look and see really how far it is. I think it may be about 1 hour. Not sure though. Thanks, Candice

Don't know about a group in Pitman, but if you wanted to check the distance to Toms River group from your home address thru Mapquest, use the address 20 Hospital Drive, Toms River, NJ 08753 -- not exactly the hospital address, but right across the street. Hi Candice, I don't know about Pitman, I'd be interested in that, but I do know that the one at Pennsylvania Hosp. in Philly is an excellent group. It meets the last Tuesday of the month, 7pm, Zubrow Hall in the hospital, at 8th and Spruce. The only problem is parking. It costs about $10 to $15 just to park in the parking lot. (If you take the Ben Franklin Bridge, it's about 20 minutes from you.) Good Luck to you, Laurel

Hi Candice, I know the area where you live and maybe you could call the hospital (old Underwood or it's JFK now) they could help you with support groups.
