Dr. Bertha - Lap RNY

Hey everyone! Thought I would pick everyone's brain. I have Dr. Bertha doing my surgery on December 27 (I hope - the holiday schedule seems a bit "sketchy". So - who has had Dr. Bertha? What can I expect? I've read lots of posts about Dr. Abkin and am glad that Dr. Bertha is his partner - but wondering about personal experiences?? Thanks everyone! Holly

Hi Holly, I am still waiting insurance approval, but Dr. Bertha is my surgeon also. He seems like a really wonderful doc. My friend had a lap RNY surgery with Dr. Bertha and said she would do it again in a minute. Keep us updated on your progress and good luck. Linda

Thanks for the reply Linda! Yeah - I heard about Dr. Bertha from a friend also and like him. I just am getting nervous And would love to hear about anyone's experience! Who is your insurance? I just heard that they stopped accepting Aetna?!?! Doesn't hurt me - I have BC/BS. Again Thanks for the reply! Holly
