USDA National Nutrient Database
Someone posted a list that they'd received from their physician
with the protein content of many food items ... After a quick
google search, I found the source website where you can search
the USDA National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference
http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/search/
Click on "Nutrient Lists" and go from there ... you can
choose to have any list sorted alphabetically or by
nutrient content.
It's an absolutely invaluable website, in my personal opinion.
Enjoy!

Hi Carol,
Thanks for the link. I was looking for something like that.
How are you doing? Things are going great with me. I've been very lucky to have had such an easy time of it. I went back to work last night and they certainly kept me on my toes. It was a very interesting night. One of the guys that I work with had his rny with Dr Abkin last year, and he couldn't believe how quickly I bounced back. I'm adjusting to the changes pretty well and I'm happy I did this. Dr Abkin seems happy with my progress too. I hope eveything's going as well for you. Are you going to the support group meeting on Nov 17? I'm planning on going and I thought it would be nice to meet the other Carol F. Have a nice weekend.
Carol
