I went for my three-month post-op check up. I'm doing great and I feel great! I had to address a few things I was doing wrong. I'm not a stickler in taking my vitamins; so I'll have to work on that (well, better work on that). I'm still vomiting; so I guess I have to work on that too. On a good note I lost around 140lbs since I started the ball rolling (the doctors scales wrong by a 7lbs), I'm walking more, going on hikes, and I started the gym. Now my next appointment for the doc is in 6 months... I'm hope I lost it all by then! -phil

Awww you are taking the first steps Christina. Take it one day at a time, and keep emailing (yes really)... and keep asking and learning more. Post when you can, and realize you WILL CONQUER THIS. REALLY. Would I lie?? Remember there are so many of us that were in your shoes, I was about 800 pounds at one time, and 640 for over ten years. I was even 601 the day of surgery... it DOES get better. Dont give up... keep your chin up and I hope you have a super day : ) Hang in there.... k? Hugs Timmy Ray
