Hi! Good news, Oxford approved my surgery! It was approved in less than a week. OMG! Dr. thinks I can have early Nov. surgery date if last two tests go OK. This is crazy, at first it seems like everything is taking forever and then WHAM! you are looking at surgery dates. Thank you Lord! Jen V.

Yes, Timmy - you got the right George. And George made October's OCWLS Meeting, but you didn't -- we forgive you though -- knew you were having fun in AC! George can't make November's meeting, cause he'll be at ANOTHER football game!

Hi Everyone! Thank you for all the great support! It is great to hear from other people who have "been there, done that!" Also to talk with others who are just starting out and to hear that they have a lot of the same feelings and issues! Makes this whole process a lot easier. I have a tenative date fo November 2 for my surgery. That is if my upper GI goes ok on the 19th. Keeping my fingers crossed! Have a great (and hopefully dry & sunny) weekend! Jen V.
