Does anyone have...

... my doctor? Dr. Nicholas Bertha ... and have you had fills with him? I am seven weeks post op and due to scheudling conflicts I wasn't able to see him for the 2 week post-op appointment (saw Dr. Pupkova instead) and again with scheudling conflicts I haven't had my six week post-op appointment yet... it's next Wednesday. So I haven't had any chance to meet with him to discuss fills yet and I'm very curious about how he does things. I am wondering what people's experiences with him and fills is... what is his policy... I know he does then under fluoro in the hospital every other Thursday, but what is his approach... 1. Will he do a fill if you are still losing weight or do you have to hit a plateau and if so for how long? 2. Does he put you on a liquid diet again after the fill and if so for how long? 3. Is he aggressive with the fills or does he make you come back a lot for little bits? 4. Do you need an appointment to get the fill or can you just go to the hospital on the day that he is there to do fills? 5. If you do need an appointment how far in advance do you have to scheudle it? 6. Does he usually have to stick more than once to get the port under fluoro? 7. Does he use any local anethesia to numb the area when filling? 8. How long does he make people wait between fills? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm curious and I don't want to bug the staff with a million questions since there are folks out here who have been through it with him before.
