Weigh****chers

Hello, Hope everyone is doing great and still losing or for those like me that have not had the surgery yet are one step closer to their surgery date. Anyway I joined Weigh****chers tonight to hopefully lose 10-15 pounds before surgery but mainly to support a friend in her weight loss journey. And boy was I shocked to find out that I actually weighed more than what my home scale said. About 6 pounds more!!! I am so devastated. I can't beleive I just keep getting bigger and bigger. 30 pounds in the last 4 1/2 months. Oh my god!!! I hope my surgery date comes sooner than later. Well just had to vent. Thanks. Karen

Karen, That happened to me when I went for my consultation with Dr. Abkin. His scale had me 3 pounds heavier than mine. I was not happy to see that. I gain very quickly too, so I can understand how you feel. My PCP is always getting on me about that. That's why he's very supportive of me having this surgery. I don't know if you've ever done Weigh****chers before, but it's a great program. I loved it but I just couldn't keep the weight off. Good luck, and I hope you'll have a surgery date soon. Carol
