Lighter for Life Support Group Meeting!

Here's a shout out to everyone in the Northern and Central New Jersey Area!!!! Have you been searching for a TERRIFIC support group? Well, we've got one for you! Lighter for Life - Dr. Joseph Kamelgard's practice is revamping and reorganizing their support group. My name is Irene and I am the new facilitator for the Lighter for Life support group and also the new Patient Care Coordinator / Office Administrator for Dr. Kamelgard. Our support group is about to experience a growth explosion as we become organized and structured with special speakers, events and more! It's going to be awesome! We'd like to invite you, ALL OF YOU, regardless of who your surgeon was or where you had surgery, to join us on Monday, October 3rd for a BRAINSTORMING SESSION from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. in the Meyer Conference room at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital. (Directions are below) We want to tailor this group to meet your needs so we need your input. We'll still have all the fun we had before along with new and exciting things in the future including meeting on a new night of the month. Set aside a bit of time this Monday and spend the evening with WLS buddies as we develop this wonderful new group. Afterwards, if you'd like to join us, we'll go out and grab a bite to eat (WLS friendly of course!). Here are the directions and we'll look forward to seeing you there! Irene St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital 224 Hamburg Turnpike Wayne, NJ 07470 ********************** FROM ROUTE 23 NORTH: Take Alps Road exit (Wayne), exiting directly onto Alps Road *Proceed on Alps Road approximately 3 miles to the 3rd traffic light, which will be Ratzer Road. *Turn RIGHT on Ratzer Road. Proceed on Ratzer Road 2.4 miles to the 3rd traffic light which will be Hamburg Turnpike. *Turn LEFT on Hamburg Turnpike. *Main entrance for St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital will be approximately 500 feet on the RIGHT. *Upon entering turn LEFT at the T-intersection, following signs for visitor parking. Because there is no left turn allowed out of the hospital's main entrance, follow signs for Hamburg Turnpike South to get back to Ratzer Road to follow the reverse route home. At the hospital exit stop sign, turn left onto College Road, which may not be marked but it a "T" intersection. Make a LEFT onto Hamburg Turnpike at the traffic light. The first traffic light will be Ratzer Road. ********************** FROM ROUTE 23 SOUTH: Take Alps Road (Wayne) exit. At stop sign turn RIGHT onto Alps Road. Proceed as from Route 23 North. ********************** FROM ROUTE 46 EAST & WEST, OR ROUTE 80 WEST: Exit at Route 23 North, follow directions from Route 23 North ********************** FROM GARDEN STATE PARKWAY NORTH: Take the Parkway North to Exit 153B (LEFT lane exit), to Route 3 West. Take Route 3 to Route 46 West, exiting at Route 23 North. Follow directions from Route 23 North. ********************** FROM ROUTE 3 WEST: Take Route 3 West to Route 46 West, exiting at Route 23 North. Follow directions from Route 23 North. ********************** FROM ROUTE 4 WEST OR ROUTE 208 NORTH: Take Route 4 West to Route 208 North. Exit at Ewing Avenue and make a LEFT onto High Mountain Avenue. Bear RIGHT at the fork in the road at Belmont Avenue. Go to the first traffic light and turn RIGHT onto College Road. Turn RIGHT at stop sign and turn LEFT at the hospital sign after the college parking lots. ********************** FROM ROUTE 287 NORTH AND SOUTH: Take Route 287 to Exit 53. Turn RIGHT at the traffic light. This will be Paterson-Hamburg Turnpike (road changes name to Hamburg Turnpike). Follow Hamburg Turnpike, bearing right at the Pompton Lakes Liberty Bell for approximately 6.8 miles to College Road (traffic light). Make a LEFT turn onto College Road and make a RIGHT turn into St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital. Visitor parking will be on the left. ********************** FROM ROUTE 80 EAST: Route 80 East to Minnisink Road. Turn RIGHT at the stop sign onto Minnisink Road. Drive 3/10 mile to the 2nd traffic light (the traffic light is for left turns), and turn RIGHT onto Riverview Drive (there is a right turn lane). Proceed on Riverview Drive 1.4 miles to the sixth traffic light by the county golf course and make a RIGHT onto Valley Road. Follow Valley Road 3.2 miles to the 5th traffic light and turn RIGHT onto Hamburg Turnpike. St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital is about 1.1 miles down on the left. Turn LEFT at College Road (traffic light) and entrance to St. Joseph's will be approximately 800 feet on the right. To get on Route 80 West to return home, take the reverse route of Hamburg Turnpike to Valley Road, LEFT on Riverview Drive. There will be signs for Route 46 West (just past Home Depot). Take Route 46 for less than a mile (get into CENTER lane of Route 46), there will be an exit for Route 80 West. ********************** FROM PATERSON, NEW JERSEY Take Broadway to West Broadway. West Broadway becomes Hamburg Turnpike. St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital is located on the right hand side just after the Ratzer Road / Hamburg Turnpike intersection.
