HOORAY FOR ME !!!!!!!!!
Hi Everyone!!!! Just thought I'd toot my own horn a little. Yesterday was my 2 month out and I reached my personal goal of 40 pounds lost!!! WOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!! I have also lost a grand total of 22 1/4 inches!!! My husband tood my pictures again and was able to put them up on our computer next to my day before surgery pictures. I hadn't really realized that I looked any different because you see yourself every day in the mirror, but boy what a difference!!!! Definately don't look as bloated anymore. Hadn't realized how much I had looked like the Pillsbury Dough Boy. Well, just had to tell someone and I know you all are so supportive and like hearing good news the best. Hope everyone else is enjoying their trip to a new and improved life as much as I am!!!! All my best and lots of hugs, The Jenster (Jen Davis from Piscataway)
Hey Jen,
You go ahead and toot that horn, what great news!!! Congrats on losing those 40 lbs and reaching your personal goal, you do the happy dance girl . Those 22 1/4 inches are really important !!!! I sure can identify with you in terms of not realizing that you look any different, I feel the same way. Others, on the other hand, see it before I do. I too, saw that I wasn't bloated anymore, especially in my face. Pillsbury Dough Boy is such a good description of what I see in earlier pictures of me.
I am enjoying this journey for the most part but I still suffer from wanting more right now!!! I would love to be at goal at 4 months out. Food addict here...I want what I want and I want it right now... I still struggle with wanting Immediate satisfaction and gratification. That is what is so great about having all of you as support people...You can reel me in and remind me that I didn't gain all this weight in 4 months so slow down Fran !!!! Enjoy the journey, not just the destination..
Keep up the good work Jen...

Fran, Thank you so much. I thought that I was being somewhat selfish for posting my post, but in the end said, what the h*ll. I haven't felt this great in a really long time. My cholesterol has dropped something like 50 points in the last 2 months, I can get off the floor without feeling like I'm going to pass out when I eventually get up, my feet don't go numb anymore, my knees and ankles don't hurt and I can just make out my collar bones. I still need to loose 90 lbs, but at least I'm on my way. Again, thanks for letting me cheer for myself, and I'm cheering for you too. All my best, Jen
