Pain

I am 7 mos out and now I have more pain than when I had my surgery near my incisions. Anyone else have this problem? It is a pinch on the sides upper and lower and in the middle lower it is a stabbing pain. On the bright side No one in my water aerobics class recognized me!!! they hadn't seen me since Jan. You really should get in touch with you doctor. If you had lap rny, that pain could be from an internal hernia or bowel kinking and unkinking. It can be very hard to diagnose this problem if the pain comes and goes. But if it kinks and remains kinked, it can be a life threatening complication. If you have any severe abdominal pain you need to have it evaluated and should contact your doctor or failing that, go to the hospital emergency room. Irene

Hey My Angel, What's going on with you? I sometimes have a twinge of a pinch not pain but a pinchy feeling in my left side. It has only happened twice and felt like a healing thing, I am 4 mos out.. Now how do you like my medical explainations? Pinchy, twinge, healing thing... By the way I did call the office about this when it happened. In all seriousness, if you are having pain...please call the Doctor. We need to take care of ourselves and sometimes need to be reminded by those that love us to do just that. Hi Lola, My friend and "roomie!" Call Dr. Abkin right away dear = better to be safe than sorry!! You know what Phil when through. That's not saying it's the same with you -but from experience - Dr. Abkin would rather have a call and take care of any problems or non-problems right away - than to wait until your condition gets worse.
