I have lost my wife
Hey all
Well I have lost *more* than my wife.
Weight wise.
My wife weighs less than the amount of weight I have lost.
I know.
Im Baddddd.
Bad Timmy. BAD BAD Timmy : )
*redneck grin*
I had surgery December 22nd, 2004,
I just celebrated my 9th mo. since surgery, I have lost 172 pounds !! (which is more than my darling wife Sandi weighs.. hence the **lost my wife statement**).
Yeah Yeah.. I know that I am pushing it..
but NOW THAT I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION... go answer a couple of posts apiece.. here on the New Jersey board?
Or start your own Post-
Its easy, and the more participation that we have the more fun.. the more fun the more people involved... and this board will be rockin more and more : )))
Hugs to all.
And my apologies for giving any one a scare but I wanted to get your attention and encourage people to POST POST **POST** : )
Anyhow...
My weight by the numbers so far
650 pounds - January 2004
601 pounds - Day of Surgery Pre Surgery loss 49 pounds
December 22nd, 2004.
480 pounds - April 30th, 2005 weight loss 121 pounds
466 pounds - July 17th, 2005 weight loss 135 pounds
440 pounds - August 9th, 2005 weight loss 161 pounds
Last Saturday
429.2 pounds - September 17th, 2005 weight loss 171.8 pounds :P
Now..
last thing...
IF you focus on Protein FIRST,
IF you take vitamins as you should.,
IF you get good exercise, and
IF you drink lots of water....
After Weight loss Surgery...
THEN it DOES work, but it also takes a lot of work.
On your part : )))
If your considering surgery.... this has given me new life, and a new lease on life. ITS A GOOD THING... but the most *most* important ingredient to the mix is YOU. Your attitude and willingness to do what it takes.
The surgery (in some ways) makes it sort of easy, but you HAVE to do the follow up. The better you do your follow up (Protein, exercise, vitamins, water) and the more you interact and GIVE and receive encouragement from others (hence this support board and in person groups).. then the MORE successful you are.
Guaranteed : )
But the support groups and the board has meant all the different.. in keeping my spirits up and staying encouraged : )))
Hugs to all
Timmy Ray
Hey Timmy,
No, you didn't scare me at all!! Knowing you through your posts, I figured it was just as you said! In fact, when I hit -50, I told everyone that I had lost my daughter! Same scenario!!
I am glad to read your posts..they are always upbeat and amusing! I need that..we all do! I keep posting as well.. I'll tell you, I have gotten so many responses, I feel like a celebrity!
God bless..

That wasn't very nice, I was taking a glance at the board and thought, I realy don't want to read something sad but If someone is hurting, I should leave a nice message. Well, you got me....but it is pretty funny. I've not had surgery yet, but over my dieting history, I've lost and gained an entire football team I usually visualize lost pounds as pounds of hot dogs.....like think of dragging 172 pounds of hot dogs around with you 24 hours a day. With this surgery, I figure I just have to lose a small to medium quaterback
Have a good saturday
