pregnancy after WLS

I have been toying with the idea of should I or shouldn't I. I had surgery almost 2 years ago and can eat everything under the sun now and semi "normal" amounts, so I don't think nurishment to a fetus would be a problem. What has me tettering on the ledge is what happens if I gain weight again and can't lose it. I am petrified to have another baby (this would be my 3rd) if I got pregnant because I afraid of getting fat again. Is this selfish of me, should I be ashamed to feel that way. I know alot of people have this surgery just to be able to have A child and I am whining about it cause I am afraid to get heavy again. Has anyone here had a baby after WLS and how did you bounce back after baby? Lots of advice needed. Tara

Tara- I'm 37 weeks pregnant right now. I was worried in the beginning about the weight gain but I've been doing very well with it. Im up about 25-28 lbs from my pre pregnancy weight. My major concern is my vitamins, you need to keep up on them. Check out our pregnancy board, http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/postop_pregnancy/ There are many women who have had thier babies already and have lost the majority of thier baby weight in the first week! -Janine
