Let me introduce myself

Hi, I've been reading and learning...I'm scheduled for a consult with Dr. Kirkland in a couple of weeks for WLS. My first consult was scheduled for Sept. 1st, but then his office called to reschedule for 28 days later!, because he wouldn't be in that day. So as you can imagine, I can't wait to get the ball rolling. I've been to the lecture at Pa. Hosp, and now I must attend 2 support groups. I'm so excited about all of this. I hope my insurance doesn't give me too many problems. I hope all of the pre-op dr. visits go well....I just am too excited about WLS to then not have it happen....So hi, glad to meet you all...I'm a 47 yo mom and wife with 3 teenage children and it's good to know that there are so many of us out there.

Welcome Laurel! I am so excited for you. I know right now is a vey exciting and anxious time. Try to enjoy it. In time, everything will fall into place. Congratulations on your decision, good luck and enjoy the NJ forum! Jean
