Losing my pants IN CHURCH!!!
Hey guys,
As some of you know, I am a music director in a Catholic Church. I play the piano and the organ and I sing.
Well, this weekend, I got dressed for 7:30 mass, went to work, and by the end of the 9am mass, my pants were falling off. You know how some pants are..these were black sort of dressy jeans. Well, they had come out of the dryer when I put them on, so they looked and felt pretty good. But then it happened..they started to stretch out. Good Lord, I have prayed for a lot of things in church, but never for my pants TO STAY ON!! LOL!!!
I ran home before the next mass and changed. The good thing is, I take these clothes off and drop them right into the good will bad. And each time this happens, I say, "I will NEVER be that size again!!" Man, do I love that!!
Well, I just thought I would share my weekend with you! Sorry I don't get to the computer during the weekend, but I have a lot of work (Funerals, Weddings, Masses) and stay pretty busy. Then we had a lovely party for my 5 year old's birthday after work on Sunday, so there it went.
Here we are, Monday morning, and getting ready for work yet again! Ugh!! Ok, talk to you soon!

Dear Rossana,
That is too funny! Good thing the Lord was listening and your pants stayed up!!
I see you said you put your pants in the dryer. That's a funny thing for me in my journey ... before WLS - NOTHING went in the dryer for fear of it shrinking! Now - everything goes in, with hopes of it shrinking so that I can get a little more wear out of it!!
And speaking about pants -- my "old" size was a 26/28. Today, I stopped in Burlington Coat Factory, and pick up a pair of black dress slacks for work - ready - get this.....SIZE 12 !!! THEY FIT (ok - they are a little snug - but this way they will last longer) I have literally checked and double checked the size about 5 times (still think they must be marked wrong!) I CAN NOT BELEIVE I CAN FIT INTO A SIZE 12 SLACKS!!!
I don't remember the last time I was that size -seriously!
I also went to the RED CROSS near my home and dropped off a bunch of clothes that are now to big for me. I hope they will be directed to the Hurricane victims.
Well - I hope your weekend is going well!
Take care, and keep up the good work!
