This felt GREAT!!!!

Hey all, Yesterday, I went down to the basement where I do all the laundry. I don't know how, but every now and then, that area gets totally overrun by clothes that somehow don't make it into the wash! Of course, they are usually mine! I make sure my kids have their things and my husband has his, but mine get pushed away. Ah.. the joys of womanhood! Anyway.. I was going through them and most of them ended up in the "good will" pile!! They were simply too big to look good anymore!! YIPEEEEE!!!!! I never thought I would be so happy to get rid of things, but it's so liberating. It's like shedding an extra skin! I keep thinking they can clothe a small village with my old tops. I used to buy them SO big so I could sort of camoflauge myself under there. I am still big, don't get me wrong, but I am wearing things that fit better because I am so proud of my 54 pound less body! That is sooo great. I can't wait to experience that. I am having problems with my insurance and I don't know how long it would be before I can feel what you do. Thanks for sharing your story... it give me hope. Emily

Emily This was a direct quote from the surgeon at the meeting in Monmouth last night.... "if you are having trouble with your insurance company...dont give up hope. Make sure you have your efforts documented on paper.. make sure your PRIMARY care doctor and surgeon are supporting you and writingt letters.. and if they are not then get them on board.. but otherwise KEEP appealing.. some people it takes 3 or 4 times but if you stick with it almost always you will be approved". Now.. he sees a lot more people than you or I.. and if he said that..then hopefully that encouraged you? : ) I know it took 3 years and like five letters for me to get approval. Keep your chin up.. be encouraged.. dont give up It will happen for you : )) godspeed Timmy Ray

Kudos and a big WOO HOO to you , Rossana ! Doesnt it feel great? I went from a 9x to a 4x... and I am funny about clothes.. I hide my clothes when I leave to go to get a load of my stuff in Iowa cuz my lovely wife will **disappear** the ones way to big for me if I dont. ( I LOVE YOU Sandi J ! : ) Awww she is right.. its just hard giving up clothes... for me anyway. I am GLAD I am a 4x.. but losing my old T shirts especially is drama drama DRAMA for this redneck. **solemn nod**.
