Hi there! I am more of a lurker than a poster, but here goes. I'm 52 y/o, had my RNY May 2003, was considered a lightweight at 238 pounds (but, only 5' tall), down to 130, wore a 3X, now a small/medium. If all goes smoothly, Sept 14 I'll be having an arm lift and tummy tuck w/o muscle repair. I'm a northern NJ gal. Born and raised in Bergen County. Now live in Morris County. Remember the floods we had this past April. Yep. THAT was Me! I was 8 years old when mom took me to the family doc and put me on my first diet . . . and needless to say it was one after another after that. I'd lost and gained 100 lbs twice in my life thru conventional diets. Eventually it reached a point where everything hurt and I just couldn't take it anymore so I started researching WLS. Best thing I ever did. And, of course, found this board and the rest is history! Have a great Thursday everyone!

Hello, I am Donna. I live in SJ. My story is a bit long to rewrite so be my guest and visit my profile. In short, just like everyone else I have had a weight problem all my life. I started this journey after much reshearch and prayers. I have a wonderful Husband and a unbelieveable son. My two men are the center of my life. I wanted to have this surgery so that I could be there for them. I started at 249 pre op and now I am 211. I have been out for about a month. I am starting to feel the differance in my legs and feet. Things are going very well for me. I am very happy that I did this. Donna
