Hi D Krok Nice to see you again : ) Four questions jump out at me. ===== -Are you eating slowly and spacing your meals out... every 2-3 hours.. and eating at least six times a day? ===== -You say you walk a few times a week..Are you getting any other exercise?. try to do something.. chair aerobics, swim... do some Richard Simmons dancing in your living room... do something... even if not walking. *EVERY* day : ) I know I know... its a pain in the patooye. : / ===== -Are you getting *ALL* your vitamins? Women especially will lag if they lack certain key elements, minerals and vitamins. ===== -Last you say your getting protein... are you getting *all* your protein? Do you take a protein drink? If NOT.. you may consider a scoop a day.. that ups your protein by 20 grams at a whack.... try that .. a scoop a day for one of your meals in water, milk, or juice of your favorite protein whey powder (you can use soy protein powder I guess.. I just personally prefer Whey protein powder drinks : P) ===== Last.. measure how much water you drink a day.... and try to drink a gallon a day. Its a HUGE amount I know... but keeping the water in you can also make a difference. A gallon is not a random amount.. I DONT normally make it... a gallon a day.. but I sure come close a lot : ) ===== If the protein or any of the other things makes a difference... *poof* you have your solution. ===== If not... call your surgeon and whap him up side the head.. *nicely* and tell him/her HELLLP !! And if you want Ill whap him too.. for you.... cuz if your doing everything right.. then you need him to help you figure it out. Godspeed.. good luck. Hugs Timmy Ray PS I did see your other post about slowing down and chewing better.. that DOES help... and you can try that. But often its a protein/vitamin/exercise/water thingy that will make the difference. Its easy to take **almost** enough vitamins.. or **almost** enough protein....BUT the difference between... say getting 40 grams and getting 50 grams is HUGE.... in a metabolic sense. See.. as a guy I need 80 grams a day. I got .. 70 grams protein a day... for a time..... pretty consistently for about a month.. and didnt lose but 4 pounds... when I got that added 10+ grams protein....for ME.. so I was at my 80+ grams protein EVERY DAY....that little bit made all the difference in the world. Now.. D... if you dont read food and drink labels and keep DAILY count... Now would be a good time to consider starting? I DIDNT.. and then after keeping count (I count Sugar grams... and amount of PROTEIN) for a month or two you get to a ZEN like place where you just **know**.... when you are getting the things you need proper like. **sorta like crossing the rice paper grasshopper without leaving a trace**... OY veh.. suddenly... I feel old quoting TV shows (Kung *** from the 70s. Sigh. Im 41. Oh well... better old and losing than young and still pre surgery I always say : ) for those of us that needed this surgery YEARS ago like I did.. anyway. Have a super day.. see you at the September Meeting? Hugs Timmy Ray

And . . . are you keeping a chart going with your body measurements? I did a spreadsheet and measured once a month. There were months when I didn't lose an ounce . . . but the tape measure told another story . . I actually lost inches. So don't only go by the scale. It'll move again . . . frustrating, but it will. Good luck! Linda

THanks so much for the advice and support- I went to the support group last night at Community- I think I got another jolt to keep going And the scale did move this am- eventhough I said that I would not go on anymore this week- WE all tend to be hard on ourselves! Thanks again
