Hi Everyone: HAPPY FRIDAY TO ALL!!! I just happened to be at the mall across the street from my office yesterday and I wandered into a store looking for a shirt to wear today. I was looking and I picked up a medium and it looked too big. I looked at the same shirt in a small and thought I would take a shot and bought it. I put it on this morning and it fit perfectly!!! Imagine, almost 2 years ago I would have NEVER, EVER looked at a small and now I'm wearing a small shirt. Isn't this WLS thing great or what!!! Jesse 373/190/-183

What an achievement! God bless! That is very encouraging to us who are starting out. I am 7 weeks out today and have lost 45 pounds. I am doing very well, and can eat anything. I think of that as a disadvantage sometimes, but I am dealing with it! Thanks for the cheery post! Rossana

Hi Jesse, congratulations and I guess you have just about reached your goal. I have hit the 80 lb mark since my surgery of 3/8/05 and am proud to say no more "Layne Bryant" shopping for me. Was able to make my first "Victoria's Secret" purchase and am soooooo happy. Good luck and hope your health is as great as mine.

Jesse, Congrats!! How wonderful it must have felt when you tried on that shirt in the smaller size and it fit. I'm just 4 1/2 months post op and I've done a little shopping and I'm a witness of how great it feels to buy something in a smaller size. May God continue to bless you and keep you. Take care. Emily
