WOW That's a lot of money...

WOW... I just looked on my BCBS webpage to see what this operation cost.... the hospital just submitted a $82625.01 bill for this... WOW my payment would be $250.00... This does not include the Doctors that walked in and out of my room (my surgen charged $8000.00-not bad). go figure

holy crap! im going to dr schmidt and im waiting on insurance approval. i certainly hope i dont have to pay out of pocket!!

are you kidding? i also have BCBS and I've never heard of no having to pay out of pocket - i didn't think BCBS had an HMO option. my surgery is $10,000 and i expect to pay $1000; and 10% of any other physician visit. to me, $250 sounds like a bargain!
