Hi Walter My husband works for Verizon too. Which insurance plan did you choose ????? We have Horizon BCBS HMO and they made things really easy for me . My Dr submited my paperwork on a Friday and they had approval by Monday. I'm not sure what help you need but I will try to help if I can. Just e mail me [email protected] Laura

I have Aetna mcn, and they are tough on the "diet history requirement" . they also exclude the ds and exlude all non participating surgeons, so its uphill one step at a time. as i must climb all three hills , diet for wls, ds as i cant have a rny, and out of net because Aetna doesnt do ds they dont have in net surgeons. but i have history of them doing it for other verizon employees with my clinical history. so on i go.
