HELP!! NEED NORTH JERSEY PCP

I am a pre-op, currently in the process of enrolling in Oxford Health with my new employer, and I must select a PCP. Since I want to have WLS I have been researching surgeons, and have settled on a number that I plan to interview; but if Oxford requires a referral from a PCP, I want to make sure to select one now who will be willing to help me in this process. Does anyone here have experience with WLS-positive PCPs in the North Jersey/NYC metro? I have to select by 7/31. Thanks in advance!

I am also totally tring to find a WLS-positive PCP in North Jersey. My insurance selected one absolutely won't consider it... Bevin Jersey City, NJ

Contact my surgeon in Hackensack. Advanced Lap. Associates on Prospect Street They are the absolute best!!! There are three doctors to choose from, I used Dr. Schmidt but there is also Dr. Trivedi and Dr. Ewing. If I can off any advice to you at all please let me know. Good Luck!!
