I need help finding a doctor

Hi, I went to my new pcp today and he is very supportive. however, he informed me that i need to find a doctor and schedule an appt and he would be able to provide me with a referral. i went to this site of course but the doc on this site dont accept my hmo even though it says they do. can someone help me? i am in the plainfield area.

I do not know what insurance you have but I had my surgery with Dr. Bertha in Florham Park. He is great. He and his staff walked me through the whole process. If you need his phone number please email me and I will be happy to give it to you. Good luck to a healthy future!

My doctor is Ajay Goyal. He has an office in Union NJ and one in Hoboken NJ. You can call him right now at (201) 610-9137 and tell him that Nancy Rosario sent you. He has a great "after care" program with support group meetings that include a nutritionist and a psychologist.

Hello my doctor has since my surgery left the state of NJ. however I know of another surgeon that may be able to help you his name is Dr. Ibraham Ibraham and he is associated with Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood NJ, where I had my surgery. You may benefit from him as his staff is very supportive and has on board a dietician, and a support group to help you through the process of changes and questions you may have before and after surgery.

My doctor is in Montclair. Dr Karl Strom, although I had Lap Band he also does RNY.

your not mentioning your preference for what type of surgery you are looking for either, i have met dr adnriea who does lap band and rny both at robert woods and st barnabus, but he reconized that i needed a more complex surgery and refered me to his teacher for a ds in ny , the ds proceedure, i would recomend him highly as most doctors doing the rny do not refer patients away, business as it be, but he is more concerned about patient health than money that was obvious to me. i would also suggest you visit the ds forum here on oh as well and learn about that option.

Hi, I am almost 2 weeks post op and my doctor is Dr. Ibrahim at Englewood Hospital. He and his staff are warm and professional and they work w/insurance to help you get approved. So far I feel good. Betsy
