Wanted: Support Group Info for Mid Jersey

Hello all. I am a transplanted Iowan/formerly Oregonian .. living near Jackson NJ, near Lakewood../ Toms River etc. Ocean county. Any in person support groups locally that you folks are aware of or attend? I am post surgery near 6 months, RNY laproscopic... weight at surgery 601, weight now.. 466. Theres a support group at CentraState Hospital.... I'm not sure of the times or even how to contact but I was looking for one closer to me and that was closest. Its about 7 minutes from Great Adventure (Jackson) on Rt 537 in Freehold. -Janine

Don't know why my original reply didn't post but here it is again! I am a founding member of the OCean County WLS Support Group. We are geared to just post-op patients and are not affiliated with any specific Dr or hospital. We meet the first Friday of each month from 7-9pm. Our meeting location has just been changed, and our first meeting at the new spot will be Friday, July 1st at Community Medical Center in Toms River - Auditorium A. Hope to meet you there.
