Angel B on the losing side!

I stopped in to see Angel yesterday afternoon. She was very groggy and said she had some pain, but she made it to the losing side! They were having challenges with her CPAP mask leaking around the NG tube (just like with me) but as far as I know that's the only minor snafu. I told her I'd be back in today when she was rested and a little more up for visitors. Thank you all for your support, thoughts, and prayers. I'll keep you updated. Joe D.

Just an update on Angel... Although she continues to experience some minor pain, she is doing well and in good spirits. She hasn't been up and walking much yet, but she's been moving her feet and using her spirometer so she's trying her best. They're talking about releasing her as early as tomorrow, but she feels she could use another day: partially because she's not sure she's ready to get up and leave, and partially because she knows her 2-year-old will want to jump all over her!
