Good afternoon! I had my gastric bypass on 3/8/04. I have since lost 150 pounds and am now starting my journey looking into reconstructive surgery. Can any post-ops refer a plastic surgeon in NJ that performs the "total body lift" or a mid/lower body lift? Have a great day! Jennifer 289 at surgery/currently happy at 139

You should try Dr. Capella in Ramsey, NJ. They are a father & son duo. One (the father) performs bypass and the other (the son) performs reconstructive surgery. I am having bypass on 7/26/05 with Dr. Capella. My insurance company has already authorized reconstructive surgery where deemed necessary.

Hi Yvette, Did you have out of pocket expenses with Dr. Capella? I'm almost positive that I called their office and the out of pocket expense was huge and there was no guarantee they would accept my insurance. I have United Healthcare. I have to double check my notes on that because I have kept information on the surgeons that I have called. Best of luck on your bypass. Jennifer
