Hi Everyone: Well the endoscopy confirmed what my surgeon thought. I have an ulcer. The gastroenterologist even showed me the picture. He perscribed me some Carafate and told me that it should clear up in a few weeks. It's not serious and I'm thankful for that. The best news is that I can go back to the gym, just take it easy for a few days. Till next time, Jesse

carafate is awsome stuff, it will bandage the ulcer almost immeadeately, and youll feel better. as i was reading you header i was wondering if that med was still arround cause i never see it in any postings. took it about ten years ago, its like a super pepto bismal in a tablet that binds like a bandge to the ulcer. protecting it.

Jesse, I am so happy for you that you found out what is going on. I think the unknown is the worse part of any problem. Take it easy and let that irritating ulcer heal, doesn't it know that it is messing with a KING? You will remain in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs, Fran (In Jersey) SURGERY: MAY 17, 2005 DR. Hey Jesse, I'm sorry you got the ulcer but it sounds like you'll get yourself healed up in no time. Are you or is your doctor planning to put you on preventive meds, like Nexium or maybe Pepcid, after your ulcer heals? I know a few people who are taking stuff regularly for prevention. Thanks, Jen

Hi Jen: My surgeon had me on Pepcid before the gastro guy did the endoscpoy. He just wants me to take the Carafate until I see him next week then we'll go from there. Jesse
