infection

Well it's over a week post-op yesterday I had to go back to the doctors because I had infection. They drained around 4 cups of puss out of my tummy and gave me some antibiotics. I have to say that got rid of a lot of pain I was having. Since yesterday I did not need any pain meds. I hope (think) I caught it in time.

Phil, Thank god you went early, I walked around with my infection for two weeks, finally went to ER, Dr Schmidt and his crew came down, did the same thing slit me open drained. But I was in pain for two weeks thinking I was just sore ( that it was par for the course) and it was not, so good for you. Should be fine. Maryann

Hey Phil, Was wondering how you were doing. Just stay on top of that infection and everything should be fine. I know quite a few people who have had post op infections and as long as they took care of them properly everything came out ok. Kathy
