ObesityHelp/New Jersey... here I come!!!

I usually just read the boards but I just had to see if anyone else is going. I finally got my tax check and had just enough to get my tickets for the ObesityHelp 3day conference in New Jersey. I got my money in just enough time to get the early bird discount with only 3 days to spare. Yahoo!!! I can't wait to meet everyone. I wanted so bad to go to the one in California but couldn't get the time off so I'm glad this one is coming to the East Coast this time. I had some worries because I hadn't heard of the city they are holding it in.. and I've always heard 'things' about New Jersey but I took the weekend and drove up there and I LOVE IT!!! The city is really nice! I was so surprised. I was nothing what I expected. And WOW.. the hotel is really nice!! We had a great weekend there. A much needed vacation. I've been checking the ObesityHelpEvents.com site to see who all is going to be there and they look like they are getting some really good speakers. I can't believe all the differnt stuff they are having! It looks like they have a good mixture of pre op and post op topices and even some just plain fun stuff to do. Even my husband is coming! (I hope it helps him make up his mind about having surgery) I was lucky enough to go to one of the one day events a while back and it was ok, but it looks like this one is going to be great. I can't wait to meet Amy Williams! Is anyone else going? I HIGHLY urge you to consider going. I saw on the site that if you can't afford the 3-day pass, you can get 1- day passes. I've heard it rumored that they are giving out magazines and other stuff this time.. Me first!! (I'm a penny pincher LOL ) Anyway, thanks for listening.. I was just so excited I had to share... Anna Marie, Thanks for checking things out for me. I am so glad it is a great hotel. We love using Hiltons for that reason. Have you heard about out King and Queen Contest? We are going to be crowning a queen and King for the weekend and giving them all kinds of gifts. If you think a magazine is cool - you haven't seen anything yet. We are event giving the King and Queen a free night at the Hilton - That's right so now you only have to pay for one night, if you are chosen the King or Queen - So now you are asking how do I enter???? Monica Thanks for reading my post! I wanna be the queen!! LOL I'm not good with my profile so I just emailed you the paragraph I would have put on my profile. (One day i'll learn how to work my profile system) I hope thats ok. I was very surprised at the Hilton but even MORE surprised about the area. I thought... where in the heck is this place when I first read where the event was going to be held UNTIL I actually went there. WOW, that changed my mind.. I'm on my way! I heard you speak at the other event I attended and I can't wait to hear you again. I hopw I get to actually meet you this time. You made me feel so much better about myself and helped me understand why I feel the way I feel sometimes. Thank you. When I first thought about going to one of the events I thought it would just be a bunch of sales pitches. I was pleasantly surprised! You really put together a good event. I can't wait to see how this one is since it is a 3 day and it has so many things. I wish I could clone myself and go to all of the classes! You have so much at this event!

Anna Marie: It was heartwarming to see that you actually took the time and gas to check out our beautiful state for yourself. There are so many "false" accusations about what my home, New Jersey is like and so many jokes made about my home by people who have never exited the Turnpike of Parkway it was gratifying to me that you sought out for yourself the beauty that is New Jersey.
