Looking for...

Hi...I am new to this site, and am actually rather new to this WLS thing! I have been researching for several months now, but have just this 10 days or so started actually doing stuff to have the surgery! I did see the surgeon on Thursday and yesterday had the first blood work done. I have all my other tests scheduled...but what I am looking for is someone here that wants to be a "support" to me & I to them. Someone who is about at the same time frame as me. Just started....looking at getting surgery somewhere in the early to mid summer! I have a wonderful husband, and great friends - but they just don't "get it"...just don't know the pangs, thr pressure, and the frustration that I know that I am going to face! Just a little more about me: I am 32. Have been married for almost 10 years. Have been heavy since about 12 years old! No children...just furbabies! Hi Hara I think I am on a similar timeline as you- my date is the 9th of June. I too have researched and researched and finally took the needed steps- I am still waiting for an approval- Not sure where you are in S Jersey- I am in Ocean Co if that helps?
