PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been trying to have this surgery for a while and just when i thought it was possible i found out that my doctor doesn't take my insurance. I have medicare and healthnet and since the medicare is primary i will have to pay the doctor 5,000 dollars and i am on disability recieving less than 500 a month I need help does anyone have any advice? By the way the doctor i'm trying to see is Dr. Capella in Ramsey, NJ.

Kia, How did you select Dr. Ramsey? How does your medicare work? Does medicare offer you any information about what surgeons take medicare?

Hi Kia, Did Dr. Capella tell you you'd have to pay $5000 or did the insurance company because he does participate with Healthnet. So all you would need to do is submit to medicare and then when they deny it submit to healthnet who will pay as primary. I know this because I worked for healthnet for 6 years and Oxford for 5. That's the way it usually goes and his office is usually very flexible with these things.
