OK for the past couple of days I have been sick to my stomach on and off and occasionally have thrown up. Everytime I do it is just like a foam that comes up. I swear I sometimes think I am throwing up soap suds. Has this happened to anyone else? Eileen

Eileen, I totally hear you. I had surgery on March 21st and in the begining I did great. This past week has been rough and I have the foamies sooooo bad. I mean, I"m literally blowing bubbles as I get sick (grosses me out even more) Anyway, they say it's normal and is also a possible sign of dyhdration. You and I are going through it together. It's disgusting. ---Courtney

I think this is pretty normal. The pouch seems to produce a protective mucus when it is irritated. I have it it so bad sometimes, that the food is long gone, but the pouchie is still foaming away. Sometimes the mucus is really thick - blech.... Feel better soon! Hugs, Nancy -109

Hi Eileen, Sometimes you can get the 'foamies" from eating or drinking too fast and eating and drinking together. Try and slow down a little, even if you think you are already eating/drinking slowly. Good luck and keep us posted! ~Kristin

Drinking a hot beverage can break up the foamies. Try some nice decaf or herbal tea. irene
