I have been post op now for almost 3 months with 41 lbs of weight loss. Does anyone know if they cover tummy tucks after all is said and done with my weight loss? Candice Sewell, NJ Dr. Slotman-Cherry Hill

Candice: Generally they do not unless a rash or hernia develops. Go to the Aetna web site and take a look at their policy bulletin on the subject. Just type in plastic surgery in the search box. Jesse

Hi Candace, I also have Aetna. I was denied for a tummy tuck and to get my arms done. I am in my Stage 2 appeal with them. I am still waiting to hear from them. Beata
