Third time the charm?
This is the third time in a month that I've gotten this close to my date. I was originally scheduled for January 19, but I caught a cold and wound up with bronchitis. Two days before the date, I had to postpone. New date was the 2nd. The Monday before, postponed again because of the cough. Now, my date is Wednesday the 16th, but I am still coughing. My doctor has prescribed Advair and Tessolan Pearls to see if we can break the coughing cycle. It seems to be working and maybe THIS time, I'll be good to go.
I live in Collingswood, but will be having my surgery in Philadelphia (Dr. Kirkland will be my surgeon.)
Now, the nerves are hitting, because I'm afraid to start psyching myself up for a third time and face the crushing emotions if I have to postpone (the first time through, I was READY for that surgery and was numb all day long when I had to postpone. Last time, I actually broke down and sobbed over the phone when I called my wife at work and told her. I am not one usually for that kind of breakdown).
Has anybody else in here gone through this?
Greg-
It sucks to have been postponed so much! It sounds like you're ready to get the surgery done and over with and finally on with your new "skinny" life.
Dont let it get you down too much.... better to go into a surgery (as major as this one) as healthy as possible so you have less concern about complications. Drink lotsa orange juice!!!
Thoughts and prayers-

Greg,
we are neighvbors i live in howell five minutes from the auction there. Best of luck. i had a hellva cold a week before mine thank god it cleared up and i had mine on the first of Feb, So be patient you waited this long this to shall work out. I now the nerves are rough but with 9 days post op my blood sugars are down to 90 and was 200-300 so that was reason enough in itself to have the surgery. Just think of how this will helo your surgery and improve our lives. god bless
