I had my plastic surgery consult yesterday with Dr. Capella which went extremely well. I had the pleasure to meet our wonderful wls sister Nannette!! Who by the way looks GREAT!!! But I came to find out I have no Out Of Network Benefits!!!!!!!!!!! I have been so bummed out. I keep getting these re-occuring rashes which are really annoying! Oh well back to the drawing board! ~Kristin

Aw Kristin -- that sucks about the out of network benefits! You look so skinny and great, but I know that the hidden skin in the jeans is a sore spot (in more ways than one). Have you done any investigation of in-network Drs at all yet? Have you spoken to Capella about his self-pay charges? His personal fees are a bit less than what he submits to insurance. He does take credit cards too! Also, there are several PS plans that allow you to finance your surgery. Could this be an option for you? It was really great meeting you -- I hope we have the opportunity to get together again. Perhaps in April in Atlantic City at the OH event there? Would you consider going? Hope to see you again soon.

hi, kristin. what does your dr. say about the rashes? i think they might be "fungal". you could try an over-the-counter anti-fungal cream....apply a very thin layer...then apply a "feminine powder" with cornstarch (summers' eve is good). it may make you more comfortable...and might even clear up the rashes while you work through your insurance situation. good luck!! barb

Hey Barbara, I was using some otc's but they stopped working after a while. My doc agreed I need a tummy tuck! She was giving me ointments and they would clear up temporarily but they always come back. ~Kristin
